About the Classroom
Teacher:Child Ratio - 1:5
Mrs. Keri/Lead Teacher - A.A. in Early Childhood
Ms. Crystal/Assistant Teacher - NC Credentials I & II

The classroom is set up for children ages 1 -2 1/2 to be able to explore and manipulate their environment independently.  As part of the Creative Curriculum for Infants and Toddlers, lessons are planned around the children's interests, individual needs and emerging skills.  Through activities, added materials and teacher support, the children are expanding their knowledge base and their gross and fine motor skills.  They are also expanding their speech and language skills through group activities and reading times.  Forming relationships is key in this age group, and through positive and nurturing interactions between adults and children, WCDC has created a warm and inviting environment for learning and growing.
