Costume Fun!
All of the staff and children enjoyed spending the day dressed in their favorite costumes. The preschool children enjoyed a trip to the SCI Corporate Office for Trick-or Treating and the infants and toddlers enjoyed showing off their costumes to the preschoolers during the WCDC costume parade. Each classroom participated in their own party which included some treats as well as some healthy creative themed snacks. Check out the FUN that was had by all at WCDC on October 31st, 2011.

Wacky and Tacky Day
WCDC celebrated individuality and creativity amongst children and staff on Tuesday September 20, 2011. Wacky Tacky Day began the start of a monthly spirit day where children and staff will dress according to the chosen theme. It certainly was a fun and exciting experience and all are looking forward to more throughout the school year.
 Every child in the center particpated in the St. Jude Trike-A-Thon on Friday April 15th, 2011. The children participated in a week long curriculum focusing on tricycle safety. They practiced what they learned during the trike-a thon on Friday. Each child raised money to support the St. Jude Children's Hospital that will aid in finding cures and treatments for various cancers and serious illnesses among children. We are thankful for everyone's support.

End of Year Celebration
June 2011
On June 10, 2011, WCDC celebrated the end of another school year. Festivities included moonwalks, fishing, bike track, relay games, face painting, art activities, water play, visit by local police and fire, and lunch. Families from all classes joined in the celebration that marked another year in their child's growth and development. Our 4 year old pre-k class graduated that evening at the St. Paul United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. The ceremony included songs performed by the class and a slide show of memories from their time at WCDC. Currently, WCDC children are enjoying the special summer festivities during their day here at WCDC which include Water Day and various field trips. WCDC wll begin a new school year on August 25, 2011.
